ZGF Hosts National Dialogue on Civic Engagement and Policy Reform

In a packed conference room at Mulungushi International Conference Centre, ZGF convened over 150 participants—including policymakers, CSOs, and community leaders—for a national dialogue on Civic Engagement and Policy Reform.

The event featured panel discussions on decentralization, public participation in budgeting, and the role of youth in governance. Several participants called for clearer policy frameworks that empower citizens to hold leaders accountable.

Outcomes from the dialogue will inform a position paper to be shared with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development.
